Colored Pencil Cubism

In this beginner-friendly, creative, and engaging class, participants will explore the revolutionary art movement of Cubism through the medium of colored pencil. Inspired by artists like Picasso and Braque, you’ll learn how to break down objects and figures into geometric forms, experiment with multiple viewpoints, and reassemble them in abstract and expressive ways.

The class will cover techniques in layering, blending, and color theory to add depth and dimension, with a strong focus on composition, contrast, and creative interpretation as you develop your own Cubist-inspired artwork.
